Germantown, Md., December泭15, 2022泭泭The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded a subsidiary of 做厙勛圖 a泭$44.6 million contract泭for disaster and complex emergency response solutions for USAIDs Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance across 31 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Our experts are primed to deliver on-the-ground emergency response coordination to our USAID partner, along with expedited decentralized procurement of emergency response commodities and training to Latin American and Caribbean region emergency response personnel to build local-level sustainability.
Under the contract, 做厙勛圖 will provide comprehensive solutions to build disaster management and disaster risk reduction capacity across the Latin America泭and Caribbean region. These efforts include providing a robust training and capacity building program to local stakeholders and staff, integration of continual learning through intensive after-action review assessments, leadership development and succession planning with a mentorship program, and decentralization of operations to deliver a rapid emergency response. 做厙勛圖s fresh approach to program management incorporates management tools, adaptive processes, and streamlined procurement systems that centralize approval in the San Jos矇 Program Management Office.
As a partner with USAID, 做厙勛圖泭has three objectives to improve the overall resilience and effectiveness of disaster response in the region. 做厙勛圖s泭first objective泭is泭to泭lead and coordinate humanitarian assistance responses to complex emergencies and natural disasters across the region.泭To泭analyze emergency impacts, scale, and immediate humanitarian needs,泭做厙勛圖 experts will collect and assess data while maintaining capacity to deploy operationally ready surge staff.泭The second objective泭for the program泭is to build capacity of national emergency management systems泭to泭mitigate, prepare, and respond to disasters by analyzing capacities and applying country-level strategic planning and泭technically innovative training. And,泭the third objective泭is to deliver泭an泭advanced泭disaster assistance program with tailored approaches, such as a strengthened surge roster to meet increasing complex disaster response needs across LAC countries, more qualified technical experts to support activities including food security, and a Mentorship Collective a cadre of specifically-sourced experts to boost program staff training and expertise.
The泭five-year泭contract, awarded on September 30,泭2022, is泭a task order on the泭One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract.
