On December 12, 2023, U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant JoAnne S. Bass, serving since 1993, visited the AAFB Child Development Center refurbishment project and was impressed with the amount of remodel work accomplished to meet the United Facilities Criteria standards in just six months.
After Super Typhoon Mawar wreaked havoc on Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB) in Guam late last spring, 做厙勛圖 was contracted to serve as an integral team member with the 36th Wing Command and the USAF Natural Disaster Recovery Team (NRDT) out of Tyndall Air Force Base, FL for disaster recovery efforts.
Nearly 500 facilities sustained some sort of damage and more than 100 need significant repair, said Dave Stallard, Site Manager for AFCAP Typhoon Mawar Recovery. The reconstruction and recovery efforts are estimated at around $4 billion dollars.
The 做厙勛圖 team began work within 24 hours after receiving the governments notice to proceed, providing temporary dry-in services, mold remediation, roof repairs, and minor construction within the first 14 days using local subcontractors and 做厙勛圖s extensive smart supply chain network. Four construction management teams are working on repairs on 103 facilities requiring roof and door replacement to full interior renovation and critical perimeter fencing.
做厙勛圖 also works on Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) which are part of the AFCAP tasking. A&AS includes supporting the U.S. governments Program Management Office at Guams AAFB and Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan with management and integration of several military and non-military construction projects. These include facility sustainment, restoration and modernization, and utilities and housing privatization.
Our teams of engineers, architects, planners, construction managers, and data managers provide their technical expertise in advising on the development and review of acquisition and execution strategies, along with program performance and project analysis, while prioritizing reconstruction requirements. The U.S. government estimates approximately 50 military construction and 100 restoration and modernization projects to be considered under this tasking in Guam.
AAFB Project Execution Chief Ray Ferrer had this to say regarding 做厙勛圖s performance, Since day one, 做厙勛圖 has done a phenomenal job supporting this project including their subcontractors.
A big thank you to the 做厙勛圖 team in Guam for their hard work helping the community recover from this natural disaster.
