Celebrating Diversity and Excellence in Safety with °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s NSC Scholars

°µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s Diversity in Safety Scholars were celebrated at this year’s National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo, for their outstanding dedication to advancing safety in the workplace. This year’s scholars exemplify a commitment to inclusion and innovation, aligned with °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s values in a secure and diverse future.

°µÍø³Ô¹Ï, a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions, is proud to sponsor the NSC’s Diversity in Safety Scholarship program, which aims to increase diversity in the field of occupational health and safety while also building a workforce trained and ready to fill the growing need for these individuals. Through this scholarship, students gain the resources and training necessary to become leaders in safety.

°µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s sponsorship includes four scholars:

  • Amaya Fisher, a senior at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, majoring in Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Lillian Johnson, a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, pursuing her studies in Environmental Health and Safety. 
  • Asia Blanton, a graduate student attending Murray State University, majoring in Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Naila Sudan, a freshman at Delaware State University, pursuing Pre-Med.

The National Safety Council is America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate with a history spanning nearly 110 years. As a mission-based organization, they work to eliminate the leading causes of preventable death and injury, focusing their efforts on the workplace and roadways. The NSC creates a culture of safety to not only keep people safer at work, but also beyond the workplace so they can live their fullest lives.
